1. Can I get a refund if I want to cancel my subscription?
Yes. If you notify us via email at howdesign.support@ipublishcentral.com within 7 days of the date you placed your order, and we will refund your full purchase amount. Refunds, including partial refunds, are not granted if you choose to cancel your order beyond 7 days of the transaction date. We can only issue a refund to the same credit card you used when placing your order. To ensure that we can look up your order and account information, please include your full contact information along with the name, username and address on the order you want refunded. To help us improve our service, please indicate why you wish to cancel your order.

2. What is HOW eBooks & Magazines?
HOW eBooks & Magazines is an online database of over 100+ digital resources including eBooks and back issues of HOW Magazine.

3. Which devices can I read my HOW eBooks & Magazines on?
Once you're a subscriber on eBooks.HOWDesign.com, you can read your eBooks/digital back issues on most devices.

On the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, you can read your eBooks via our iOS app "HOW eBooks & Magazines" which is available for free on Apple's App Store.
 
Those of you on Android devices will be able to read your eBooks via our browser based reader (just make sure you have Flash enabled), or you can take advantage of our "HOW eBooks & Magazines" Android app, now available for free at Google's Android Market (now called Google Play).

Please note: You must be a subscriber on this site before you can log into our free apps.

4. How often are new eBooks & magazines added?
To see all of the eBooks that you'll get access to on HOW eBooks & Magazines (and to search for any specific titles you're looking for), simply click on Browse eBooks in the top nav & you'll be able to browse them all.  
New eBooks and digital back issues are added on a regular basis.  Usually a new title is added each month. You'll get access to all of the books in this online library at the time you sign up -- PLUS all of the books that are added to the site while you're a subscriber...so you'll always have something new to read.  

If you sign up for the HOW eBooks & Magazines newsletter via the email signup box at the bottom of this page, you'll hear about every new eBook & magazines that gets added to the site.

5. What subscription options are available? And how much does a subscription cost?
Presently, you can subscribe to HOW eBooks & Magazines and gain access to ALL of the eBooks and digital back issues in the library for just $199 a year or $19.99 a month (enjoy this special introductory offer!). That's an amazing deal, because if you bought each of these books/magazines at your local store, or at MyDesignShop.com, you would spend tens of thousands of dollars!

6. Is this a secure site for ordering?
Yes. When entering your credit card information to make a purchase, your credit data is secured using PayPal's VeriSign Secured transaction process. Yes. The majority of these titles are available in print at the MyDesignShop.com.

10. What happens when my subscription expires?
When your subscription expires, you'll no longer have access to the eBook & magazine database. However, you can easily renew your subscription to regain access to your favorite design eBooks and digital back issues.

11. Is there a limit to how many times I can access an individual title?
There is no limit to how many times you can access your favorite eBooks or digital back issues. You can read and reread any title as many times as you like, as long as you're a subscriber.

12. How can I change my contact information?
When you log in and you’re taken to your MY BOOKS page, simply go to My Folder and click the Profile Settings option. You’ll be able to update your contact and other information there.
 
You can also click on your user name at the top right-hand corner of the site, when you're logged in.  This will quickly take you to your Profile Settings page.

13. Are these the same versions of your books that I see on the shelves at my local stores?
Yes, these are the full versions of our bestselling HOW brand books and HOW Magazines in print. The only difference is that you'll be able to carry the full library of 100+ titles without needing a wheelbarrow!
